Laxmi Puja Celebration 2007
After completing a successful Durga Puja celebration, all our members decided to put our hands forward to celebrate Laxmi Puja. Kojagari Lakshmi Puja was held on 25th October 2007 at the same location where Durga puja was celebrated. As there was no laxmi idols available in bangalore, the idol was airlifted from kolkata. We also organised dinner for all the devotees.
Asche bochor abar hobe!!!!
Finally time had come for Ma Durga to leave us. The idols were imersed in Ulsoor lake with lot of sorrow and sadness but with a very optimistic thought and note " Asche bochor abar hobe.......Durga Mai ki Joy".
Durga Mai ki Joy!!!!!
The goddess was taken for imersion to the Ulsoor lake. The ladies of our association performed "dhamaiil" nach at the ghat. Though there is a sense of unhappiness in our hearts that our durga ma will be leaving us, but on the contrary we celebrate in expectance that ma durga will return back next year bringing with her joy, happiness and prosperity for mankind.
